When treating a stomach ulcer, vinegar would seem like a very unlikely candidate because of its acidity. It’s popular to use in salads and in certain types of foods, but many people overlook it when it comes to home remedies and treatments. In truth, you can use this extremely healthy fluid to treat a stomach ulcer naturally.
Finding the Cause
If you experience stomach pain after a meal but don’t know for sure whether a peptic ulcer or stomach is causing the problem, take 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar straight. If the pain dissipates, you probably have too little stomach acid; if the pain becomes worse, you likely have too much. In the latter case, neutralize the stomach acid naturally by drinking a mixture of 1 tsp. baking soda and 8 oz. water.
Apple Cider Vinegar and Supplements
An acquired taste, apple cider vinegar has an extremely strong flavor.
