Make Natural Tea Tree Massage Oil
Massage therapy is one of oldest healing techniques known to man, using the simple act of touch to relieve muscle pain and stress, keep the skin young and healthy and even detoxify the body. 1. Measure 8 tsp. of grapeseed oil into a glass bowl. You can choose from a number of carrier oils when making homemade massage oil; however grapeseed has virtually no scent and is available in most supermarkets. It is important to use metal and glass utensils when preparing oils, as plastic and wood are highly absorptive and can contaminate your finished oils.
2. Add 5 drops of tea tree oil, 3 drops of jasmine and 2 drops of neroli essential oils to the bowl. Tea tree oil, the main ingredient in your massage oil is widely known for its antiseptic and antifungal properties; but it can also be used to treat skin condition like burns, acne, cuts and eczema.
3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and carefully pour your tea tree massage oil into a dark glass bottle. Be sure to protect your work surface from spills, as essential oils can damage delicate surfaces.
4. Keep your tea tree massage oil in a dark and cool location out of reach from children.
